Volunteer for our Asé mentorship program! Asé is an African word from the Yoruba language, pronounced 'ah-shay'. It means power to change or to make so, to create that which you speak. It is a word of affirmation and we affirm that our children shall live well!

We are beginning a new class of Asé mentees. We hope you will consider having your child participate. It takes a village! Please email livewellchurchnj@gmail.com for more information. Mentors are prayerfully matched to each child, with weekly reports and check-ins to ensure that each child is receiving what they need from the program. Each mentee, mentor, and parent will formalize their agreements in church on Communion Sunday, so please reach out with questions.
